Marmaris rigging provided a complete new rig for my sailboat. Their work was efficient and very professional. One could see that they are well organized and an experienced team. I recommend the team of Marmaris rigging to any sailor who has problems with his rig.

To whom it may concern;
Marmaris Rigging (MR) successfully finished a complete renewal job for the standing rigging of my 2011 Dufour 405 Grand Large sailing vessel in January 2020.
I appreciated the professionalism of the crew greatly during the preparation and execution of this project. Specifically, MR crew had the attitude to protect the boat owner’s interests and prevent unnecessary costs. It is also worth mentioning that the crew informed the owner about the additional issues they encountered during the execution of the job and they did not approach every small issue as an additional fee opportunity. The way they planned the execution also eliminated the need for the use of a crane, thus eliminating additional costs (in contrast to other offers I received prior to selecting MR). All these differentiated MR from the other rigging companies I contacted. Of course, the above statements were limited to my personal experience with MR. However, within its own context, I encountered good will and honesty in MR that I valued greatly.

We met my brothers Bahadır and Fatih at the marina and got along very well. They do my job extremely well, clean and on time. They provide information and keep them informed at every stage, and they do these works at reasonable prices as well as they can. Two bright friends wish them success in their new job.

I met with Bahadir and Fatih through a common friend in charter business. As one of the biggest charter businesses in Turkey, they were getting most of their boats serviced by Bahadir and since they have a lot of boats in their fleet, he had hands on experience of Bahadir’s work ethic. Because I acquired my boat, an Archambault A35, recently, i thought i would give him a call to ask him to stop by for looking at my boat’s standing rigging. Since my boat is a racing boat it has Dyform wires for its rigging and that required a diligent rigger which works to a highly quality. Once he arrived, we looked at the status of my almost 12 year old rigging and decided to replace everything since i would be cruising with my family and i did not want to take the risk of having a failure offshore. After that decision, Bahadir diligently sourced the required high quality components which was a challenge by itself due to the rarity of dyform wires on boats and made the process much easier for me.
Once all the materials acquired by them, we decided on a date and he and his business partner Fatih, showed up at the Marina. Because it was my first time unstepping the mast, they let me know about the process and upon my request i became a member of their team for two days to learn more about my boat. We flawlessly unstepped the mast and once the mast is on the ground, they set out to do all the maintenance/replacement work. Standing rigging needs to be assembled to a high standard and I should say that Bahadir and Fatih performed to a very high standard. They have all the necessary tools and since they have a WireTeknik swaging machine, the gold standard for swaging machines, swages came out perfectly done. We then serviced everything related to rigging on the boat, chainplates, turnbuckles, forestay, backstay, mainsail track etc. and stepped the mast back on to the boat. Once the mast was on the boat, they did all the adjustments of the rigging using precision instruments and finished up the work.
All in all because of their excellent work, I have now full confidence on my boats standing rigging. The process for me was very smooth and I can wholeheartedly recommend Marmaris Rigging for your rigging needs as well. Thanks a lot for the great work guys…
